Vanadium Mining - The Lindfield Project
Vanteq Minerals:
The Lindfield Project
Vanadium and High-Purity Alumina (HPA)
EPM 27872
Critical Minerals Group (CMG) is a 100% owner of the Lindfield project, a 295km² tenement in Northwest Queensland located near the town of Julia Creek.
As one of the leading Vanadium mines Australia wide, this project has a JORC Inferred resource of 363mt @ 0.43% V2O5 and 4.8% Al2O3, includes Indicated Resource of 254mt @ 0.44% V2O5.
The Vanadium is partially contained within the oxidized zone which has significant benefits.
• V2O5 grades are typically higher in the oxidized zones than in the deeper fresh zones.
• Other minerals are likely to be present, including HPA and Mo, based on surrounding tenement drill results.
• Significantly lower Vanadium mining costs due to a low strip ratio.
Location and Infrastructure
The Lindfield Project (EPM 27872) is located approximately 30Km’s North-East of Julia Creek township in the north-western area of Queensland in the Eromanga Basin, as shown in Figure: 1. Julia Creek is a regional town situated 655 km by road to the West of Townsville and 255 km East of the mining town of Mt Isa.
As one of the upcoming Vanadium mines Australia wide, the Lindfield Project is intersected by the main infrastructure corridor of the Flinders Highway and the Great Northern Railway line and all essential services and facilities.
Power – Grid Power Access.
Rail System – The nearest railway is situated within a few kilometres of the project area.
Roads – Northwest Qld has an excellent network of roads, and the main surrounding roads are asphalt.
Water –Available Surface water
Port – The port of Abbot Point is accessed via road and rail.
